To understand different syatems of agriculture, one has to e knowledgeable about different components of these systems; crop and animals, technology used, and the human factor. While the student gathers knowledge on the former two aspects elsewhere, the Department of Agricultural Economcs is mainly concerned with the last, the human factor, especially management. though the Department is named as Agricultural Economics, it offers courses in another important dicipline in the field of agriculture, Agricultural Extension.
